Please help me title my new book!

Dear Colleagues,

As you know I stepped down from my role as SVP Corporate Responsibility and Global Chief Diversity Officer for Sodexo earlier this year. Since then I have been working on a new book that draws on my experiences in leading global diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) transformation. The result is a practical narrative that also includes stories of global leaders from dozens of companies. I hope to submit a draft of my manuscript in early January 2021.

I value your input and it is for this reason that I would appreciate your insights in helping me select a title and subtitle for the book. Which of the options suggested would make you want to get the book?

Please take a couple of minutes to complete this 6 question title survey by noon EST this Friday December 4, 2020:

Below is a preview of the book:

In today’s polarized society global organizations can no longer pursue Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs quietly on the sidelines at their own pace. Instead, leaders are being pressed to be agents of transformational change. But leading DEI in global organizations is complex and fraught with challenges. Many organizations try exporting their successful single country DEI initiatives globally – only to find their single-culture worldview inadequate for and insensitive to the unique local contexts where change actually happens. This book is a leader’s guide for how to go about the hard, but fruitful, work of change on a global scale. Rohini Anand shows, through stories of real leaders and their organizations, how to find the sturdy middle ground of honoring local cultures while advancing lasting, progressive change and advancing social justice. This book is the first of its kind to tackle the topic of global DEI from a leader and practitioner perspective. It explores five drivers of successful global DEI: . Make it Local: advancing a global strategy that supports local variation . Transformative leadership: undergoing personal transformation to lead inclusively . Competitive advantage: articulating the impetus for changing the culture . Integrated strategy: engaging the interdependencies in the ecosystem . Metrics and accountability: establishing clear outcomes and holding leaders accountable for them

The result is a practical narrative for successfully leading global diversity, equity, and inclusion for better organizations and a better world.

I really appreciate your continued support by taking this survey. My best.
