Dr. Rohini Anand is a strategic global business leader and trusted board member with 30+ years’ experience leading global Talent, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) change efforts to strengthen culture, advance equity, and accelerate business growth. She is a recognized pioneer and expert in positioning Talent, DEI and ESG as enablers of positive brand identity, customer loyalty, market growth, and revenue generation. Her global experience, cultural dexterity, vast network and ability to influence leaders result in a reputation for judgment, integrity and accountability. Dr. Anand demonstrates exceptional talent for building coalitions of customers, clients, employees, shareholders, and communities to advance corporate competitiveness and responsibility and mitigate risk.

As former Global Chief Diversity Officer and SVP ESG, Dr. Anand transformed Sodexo a French global company with 460,000 employees in over 80 countries, from a legacy $80M race discrimination class action litigation into an iconic and award-winning DEI leadership brand. This groundbreaking global cultural change is featured in the Harvard Business School case study "Shifting the Diversity Climate, the Sodexo Solution."

Currently she provides Talent, DEI and ESG strategy consulting, coaches and advises Talent, DEI and ESG professionals and senior business executives and delivers compelling keynotes.

Global Organizational Transformation

​

Rohini leveraged Talent, DEI and ESG advancements to elevate business brand and competitiveness. She played a key leadership role in the global transformation of a multinational business from independent geographic business units to seven transversal global business lines. She led initiatives that significantly increased women and minorities in global senior leadership.

Currently Dr. Anand provides C Suite engagement including dialogue and strategy sessions on DEI and organizational cultural transformation.

Dr. Anand influenced organizational leaders to embrace the increasing demands to balance the risk/benefit ratio of socially accountable business practices and growth while meeting stakeholder demands. She led a waste management effort to reduce food costs by 2-8%.

Board Governance

​

Rohini Anand brings extensive experience in both nonprofit board service as well as for profit advisory boards. At the Galt Foundation she is board secretary and chairs the governance committee, led a whistleblower investigation, guided transition to a new CEO, and assisted with the acquisition and formation of a for-profit arm. She chaired the Catalyst Board of Advisors, the premier organization promoting the advancement of women globally. Dr. Anand serves on the DEI advisory boards of Charter Communications and Sanofi, among others. She serves on the board of Pulsely, a DEI start up.

Dr. Anand is author of Leading Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: A Guide for Systemic Change in Multinational Organizations (Berrett Koehler), endorsed by luminaries such as Indra Nooyi, former Chairman and CEO, PepsiCo; Hamdi Ulukaya, Founder and CEO, Chobani and Tent; and Leena Nair, CEO, Chanel. She has been featured in The New York Times and The Washington Post amongst others and has appeared on CNN, NPR and Bloomberg.
